Decorate bottles with wool or yarn
Use wool or yarn to decorate glass bottles. It is a fun, easy and cheap craft to do, while recycling all the bottles, jars or glass containers you have.
Materials: Bottles or jars of glass, wool or yarn in your favorite color, hot silicone gun, buttons, ribbons for decorations.
Procedure: 1.- Wash the glass bottles, removing the labels if necessary. Let dry thoroughly.
2.- Start by gluing the wool in the bottom of the bottle. Add a few drops of silicone to the beginning of the thread and roll it up carefully.
3. Apply drops of silicone on certain lengths of wool (it is not necessary to cover the whole surface with silicone)
4.- If you are going to use two or more colors of wool, cut the first section of wool and glue it so that it does not come loose. Just where the thread ends, stick to it the start of the next thread and begin to roll up again.
5.- Continue rolling until completely covers the bottle
6.- Decorate to your taste with buttons, ribbons, etc.
