Create beautiful decorations for your house or for a party using glass bottles painted with metallic finishes. The technique is really easy to follow.
Materials: Glass bottles, or spray metal paint (gold or silver tone)
Procedure: Thoroughly wash and dry the bottle. Place it in an open place, preferably outdoors (protect surfaces with newspapers to prevent stains) and apply the paint directly to the bottle at a distance of approximately 15 cm, until completely covered. Let dry for a couple of hours.
Variants: --- You can create textures on the bottle using inflatable paint or hot silicone. Form the designs you prefer (dots, lines, strokes, words, etc.). Allow to dry and then apply the paint as indicated at the beginning.
--- Another way to create texture is by applying a layer of sand on the glass. With the help of a small brush varnished with white glue the parts of the bottle that you want texturing and before it dries apply sand or salt. Let it dry and apply the paint.
--- If you use bottles with colored glass, you can create an interesting effect by applying the spray under the neck of the bottle (leaving unpainted).
